7th Grade FACS
Tues. Apr 27, 2010 Thurs. April 29, 2010  
It should be a sewing day, but because so many students are gone, we will watch a DVD "Darius goes West".  Should keep them busy.  Don't let them get out the sewing machines!!

Three students need to still pass the sewing machine license.

All students need to be cutting out the materials for pillows.

 

  

 

8th Grade FACS

Complete milk and meat section of My Pyramid worksheet.

They each have the worksheet and the internet site they need to be at.  If they have completed the entire worksheet they can save it to the shared folder.  If they get done early I would like them to start looking on the internet for milk shake recipes.

 Kitchen Safety video.

Plan for lab on measuring techniques.

Only 1 student remains for class ; Krista Winckler, she can have study hall. Chapter 15 questions due.  Work to complete computer activities.

In Homes, Today and Tomorrow Text read  Chapter 19 in class. Pgs 411-433.  Complete questions. 1-10 pg. 434. 

Work to complete Activity 5 pg 435. Will have class time on Wed to complete.

 Work to complete activity 5 pg 435 by 9:15.  Work to complete Chapter 19 worksheets.

Chapter 19 worksheets due. Watch furniture video to introduce Chapter 20.  Assign Chapter 20 and questions 1-10 due for Tues.

Register for the class.  They may  tell them they may use headphones to complete the demonstration part of the program.

Hand out reading "Water Worries by Sara Aase"  and read together.  Assign Water Worries worksheet.  Students will need to go to many different websites to complete the worksheet.  I checked the sites and they all worked.
